Consent of terms
By submitting an order you will be bound by these terms. Each order placed is a separate contract between you and QLD Gun Exchange.
We deliver products Australia wide using a trusted selection of freight providers. In most cases goods are sent via Australia Post and regardless of what courier is used, goods are always sent with a tracking service. Online shipping cost is set at a flat rate of $19.95, this covers up to 10 products within a reasonable weight. If there are changes to freight prices, customers will be contacted by QLD Gun Exchange with an updated freight cost or an offer of a refund or store credit. Products that are not included in ‘$19.95 flat rate shipping’ are bulky items and dangerous goods (ammunition, primers, propellant powder). If the products are in stock, an order is usually dispatched within 2 business days, where items need to be ordered from a supplier, a sales team member will be in contact with you with an ETA (Estimated time of arrival). Delivery with Australia Post normally takes between 2-7 business days with exceptions to rural or regional areas.

For shipping bulky items such as safes, we will contact you with a shipping quote after receiving your order.
Please note international shipping does not apply online. For a shipping quote to an overseas country, please email us . Additionally, some of our products are subject to export restrictions.

Insurance is available at an additional 2% of the total order value. This covers loss and damage for goods in transit and can added by phoning QLD Gun Exchange on (07) 3393 0933. Please note, insurance is not available on private firearm transfers and international orders.
Please note international shipping is not available online. Additionally, many of our products are subject to export restrictions. Please contact us to discuss options.
Firearms may be shipped directly to a licenced customer within Queensland providing we are supplied with the original Permit to Acquire (PTA) or faxed version from Weapons Licensing Branch. We cannot accept a copy or a fax copy received from anyone else except for the Weapons Branch. Firearms may only be shipped to the address details on the PTA.
Firearms sent interstate must be sent from dealer to dealer. We cannot send a firearm directly to you if you reside interstate or hold an interstate licence. Please include your nominated transferring dealer in the order comments or contact us to discuss.
Availability of products
With the vast range products in the shooting and hunting industry, it is difficult to have every item in stock. Most items are available from our Australian suppliers and QLD Gun Exchange always does it’s best to source desired products with in the legal boundaries. Where products are unavailable, a staff member will advise of an Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA). Please note that the lead times we are given from our suppliers are estimated and QLD Gun Exchange is not responsible for late delivery of products. In the case where QLD Gun Exchange is unable to supply the product within a reasonable timeframe you may be given a refund if QLD Gun Exchange is permitted to cancel the order with the supplier. Backorders will not be kept for cancelled orders.
If there is a genuine error in your order (including but not limited to a description, price or image), we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund any monies paid to us.
All pricing in store and online is given in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified. Prices include GST, this includes fees and charges such as delivery. QLD Gun Exchange reserves the right to change or adjust pricing without notice to you. Once an order is submitted we will honour the price paid (unless your order is affected by a pricing, description, picture error).
Payment on the web can be made via credit card or direct deposit. Payments accepted in store are cash, credit card, debit card, cheque, money order, or direct deposit. In all cases where direct deposit is the chosen method of payment, QLD Gun Exchange will wait until the funds are received before the order is processed. Credit cards are processed by Eway, please see their website for their terms and conditions. QLD Gun Exchange does not keep credit card details on file.
In store collection
Collection of goods in store is available during store trading hours. Goods will only be held if order is paid in full or the order is within payment terms. To nominate another person to collect your order, please put their name and phone number in the order comments. for security reasons, a photocopy of your driver's licence will be taken with colleciton of goods in store.
Dangerous goods include ammunition, primers, and propellant powder. A valid firearms licence must be sighted by a QLD Gun Exchange staff member when any dangerous good are sold. Without a valid firearms licence, customers are unable to purchase dangerous goods from QLD Gun Exchange.
Dangerous items and will subsequently cost more to ship. We will contact you with details after receiving your order.
Order cancellations & returns
Please choose carefully when purchasing products on this site. We invest time and money to prepare orders before they are shipped. Order cancellations will incur a 20% restocking fee. If you wish to cancel an order please contact us on 07 3393 0933 or contact us.
Should you receive a product which is damaged, incorrect or not as described please call us on 07 3393 0933 or contact us within 24 hours of receiving the delivery so that we can remedy the situation as quickly as possible. Any attempt to use the incorrect or damaged item will be deemed acceptance by the consumer. Queensland Gun Exchange will cover all costs of return if we are found to be at fault.
All products sold by Queensland Gun Exchange are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, which in most cases is 12 months from date of purchase. In the event that you have a warranty claim in respect of a product delivered to you within Australia, you will be asked to return the product to Queensland Gun Exchange. If you believe a product you have purchased is faulty please contact us on 07 3393 0933 or contact us to organise the return of the product. Any shipping costs incurred with the return of a product to Queensland Gun Exchange is the responsibility of the consumer. We will not accept any goods for return without prior contact.
Information on recalled products will be available on https://www.productsafety.gov.au/recalls . In most cases, if a product has been recalled and is something QLD Gun Exchange has stocked, QLD Gun Exchange will work with the customer to find a solution to the problem.
You consent to us contacting you to notify you of a product recall, however it is not our responsibility to do so.
Promotions, discounts and sales
The promotions, discounts, sales and prices listed online may not apply in store and vice versa. QLD Gun Exchange do not price match. Certain specials come with additional terms, it is your responsibility to read these terms before making a purchase. All references to sales are based on the time in Brisbane, Australia unless stated otherwise.
